Aquaman is a superhero film adapted from the DC Comics character with an action adventure genre produced by James Wan (The Nun, Lights Out) as the director and story writer with Geoff Johns (Deadpool, Green Latern Corps) and Will Beall (The Legend of Conan, Gangster Squad) in developing it from a comic titled Aquaman by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger into the film.

The film is a spin-off or solo film from members of the Justice League, telling the story of Arthur Curry, otherwise known as Aquaman, heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who must step forward to lead his people against his own brother, Orm who seeks to unite seven kingdoms and fight the world surface, Aquaman’s film became the sixth claim from DC Extended Universe (DCEU) in its sequence, Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Suicide Squad (2016), Wonder Woman (2017) and Justice League (2017) .

Followed by Shazam’s solo film! (2019), 1984 Wonder Woman (2019), Birds of Prey (2020), Cyborg (2020), Green Lantern Corps (2020), The Flash (unknown) and The Batman (unknown). But the release can change at any time, according to the wishes of the studio who can advance or rewind the film show schedule.

Being the only superhero film to air in 2018, Aquaman’s film stars Jason Momoa (Braven, Just Cause), Amber Heard (London Fields, Run Away with Me), Willem Dafoe (Murder on the Orient Express, The Great Wall), Patrick Wilson (Insidious The Last Key, The Commuter), Dolph Lundgren (Creed 2, Wanted Man), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Greatest Showman, First Match) and Nicole Kidman (The Upside, She Came to Me).

Produced by Peter Safran (Flatliners, The Crooked Man) and Rob Cowan (The Conjuring 2, The Hollow Season) with its production house Warner Bros, Pictures, DC Entertainment, Cruel and Unusual superhero film and Mad Ghost Productions have issued a filming budget of around $ 160 million USD.

As a production party, Warner Bros. Pictures will air at the end of December 2018 with the tagline “Home is Calling”.
